Study abroad has been one of the most popular choice because we can't disagree that, for people who has the same level of eduction, having the degree from oversea will be more noticeable.

2. Academic degree -- This is another important factor you should have a final decision in mind before choosing a university. There's no university that is popular in every field. If you want to study abroad to earn an MBA degree you might have to look for some university in California or Ivy league.
At the same time, if you want to study abroad to have an agricultural degree you might be looking for some universities in the South or Midland . Most importantly, try hard not to change your goal. You have to realize that there will be many more challenging factors to prevent you from reaching the goal. Do not give up. The clearer goal you have the clearer path you walk.
3. Constriants / external factors -- Now that you have financial support and clear target. it's time to list out all your constraints / external factors which are individually varied. For example, if you can't live in cold weather.
Cross out the ones in Minnesota or New York . If you have friends or relatives living there, consider universities nearby them. If you are big city girl who can't live without shopping center forget about Alabama or Mississippi but if you are a tranquil type of person don't suffer yourself with New York or Chicago.
4. Ranking time -- at this stage, you should have the area where you will be living, It is the time to choose your target universities. Choose 3-4 of them by ranking and statistic. Some excellent universities have compromise policy for international students while some are not very welcome.
This you can check from the university's student body. Do not send all application to universities in the same level. Leave some spaces for yourself. Everyone wants to go to MIT but if you get 450 of GMAT score should you waste your time and money sending the application to it?

There are millions of people learning English around the world. There are thousands of English schools, ESL programs, fabulous English curriculums and many more to facilitate people. But many still fail. The reason they are not successful are very common.
1. Don't try hard enough --> Think about how much time and effort you put to win the girls (or guys) heart. Think about how much time and effort you put to finish the final project in school.
Compare it with the effort you spend on learning English. It is much less right?
You will never be succeed in learning english, or anything, if you don't try hard enough.
Some people ask me "so when can I stop learning?" My answer is simple... "never."
We are here on this cruel world to learn. You'll never pass anything until you learn from it.
2. Shy --> Many people speak english very well, when they are alone, but they are just not confident enought to show it off when they have chances.
Think about when you go to other countries and meet local people who can speak in your language, even though it sounds incredibly funny. You feel so glad right?
It is the same when you speak English with English, Australian or American in a funny accent. Do not worry about mistake as long as you still can communicate with them. Remember, the more you fail the more you learn.
3. Wrong Attitude --> I have mentioned before that you don't want to be an english professor or professional translator. So, please, and please, do not worry too much about the correctness of the sentence.
You will learn it from time to time not from memorizing it. The goal is to make the listener understand you. You don't need to memorize the whole dictionary because it doesn't help in a real situation.
Look at the example below and ask yourself "Who would you want to be?"
Mr. A / Mr. B and Mr. C all don't know that the elephant is called elephant but they have different ways to say in the situation
Mr. A :"I saw a big grey animal with the long nose and big ears walk pass by me yesterday. You know what I mean?..... yes yes an elephant."
Mr. B : "umm I saw something that I don't know how to call it. Ahhhh. ummmmm.... I ahhh well sorry."
Mr. C : ........... (Decide not to tell the story to anyone)

There are millions of people learning English around the world. There are thousands of English schools, ESL programs, fabulous English curriculums and many more to facilitate people. But many still fail. The reason they are not successful are very common.
1. Don't try hard enough --> Think about how much time and effort you put to win the girls (or guys) heart. Think about how much time and effort you put to finish the final project in school.
Compare it with the effort you spend on learning English. It is much less right?
You will never be succeed in learning english, or anything, if you don't try hard enough.
Some people ask me "so when can I stop learning?" My answer is simple... "never."
We are here on this cruel world to learn. You'll never pass anything until you learn from it.
2. Shy --> Many people speak english very well, when they are alone, but they are just not confident enought to show it off when they have chances.
Think about when you go to other countries and meet local people who can speak in your language, even though it sounds incredibly funny. You feel so glad right?
It is the same when you speak English with English, Australian or American in a funny accent. Do not worry about mistake as long as you still can communicate with them. Remember, the more you fail the more you learn.
3. Wrong Attitude --> I have mentioned before that you don't want to be an english professor or professional translator. So, please, and please, do not worry too much about the correctness of the sentence.
You will learn it from time to time not from memorizing it. The goal is to make the listener understand you. You don't need to memorize the whole dictionary because it doesn't help in a real situation.
Look at the example below and ask yourself "Who would you want to be?"
Mr. A / Mr. B and Mr. C all don't know that the elephant is called elephant but they have different ways to say in the situation
Mr. A :"I saw a big grey animal with the long nose and big ears walk pass by me yesterday. You know what I mean?..... yes yes an elephant."
Mr. B : "umm I saw something that I don't know how to call it. Ahhhh. ummmmm.... I ahhh well sorry."
Mr. C : ........... (Decide not to tell the story to anyone)

The reason why people decide to study abroad to English speaking countries is to be in the environment that fully encourage them to learn but not everyone can do that due to cost, time and many other factors.
Fortunately, this is the year 2008 and if you look around you will find that English is everywhere.
Language school is all around you, When you wake up in the morning, listen to English radio station a few days in a week, read English newspaper before leaving to work or study.
On the bus, look around and see the sign on the street and compare with the picture they show and you will have new vocabularly everyday without memorizing them directly because humans always remember things better if you tie them up with the picture.
During the day when you talk to people or see new things, keep asking yourself "how to say it in English?" or "how does this thing call in English?" In the evening, when you go out and have dinner with your love or family, pay little attention on the english description of food in the menu.
If you keep doing this you will definitely getting better from time to time. I bet on that.
